    Prayer Focus
Handling Distractions, To Remain Connected as a Disciple

    Scripture
    Psalm 27:11-14

    Prayer

Lord, you are Alpha and Omega you are our bright and shining star. You speak and things happen. You are our everything and without you we are nothing. Lord, we honor you and give you all the praise we have within us because you are worthy. Guide our steps and lead us into the place where you want us to be. Let us deny ourselves so that we may be approved by you. Our flesh is weak but we are made strong by your Spirit. Help us to make the choices by your Spirit and not our flesh. Help us to choose life and not death, blessings and not cursing. We continue to commit ourselves to your Will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

    Challenge Questions

What plan does God have for you (Jer 29:11)?

What does he want you to do with the gifts and talents he has blessed you with?

Write down the talents God has blessed you with and see how those talents and gifts can be used in the Kingdom of God.

FaithWorks Prayer GuideRadical Newnessby FaithWorks 2012 will be like no other conference we have experienced. We are believing God for ‘Radical Newness’ in our lives, in our church and in our community. The next 21 days preceding our annual Christian Training and Empowerment Conference should be used as a time of reflection and meditation. Join us in using this prayer guide and devotional to reflect on the daily themes and focus areas for our conference as we prepare for ministry. Use these daily scriptures, prayers and challenge questions as you participate in our corporate prayer mission to cover our ministry in prayer. “But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night." - Psalm1:2
