Uniting Generations Through Faith, Prayer and Sacrifice

    Our Pledge:

As we continue our work unto the Lord, we stand together with one accord reaffirming our commitment to the God-given vision for the Apostolic Faith Church family.

We commit to giving God our first fruits through tithes and offerings, and rendering Him our best through our sacrificial giving to Capital Stewardship, above our tithes and offerings.

We are committed to Uniting Generations through Faith, Prayer and Sacrifice, as we secure the future of the next 3 generations.

We commit to pray for, build up and encourage one another in the body of Christ.

We are also committed to being a good steward of the resources God has given us.

We are confident that God will complete the work that He has started in us, because the finances to bring the vision to pass are in the house!

    In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As you give, you are not just helping to finance a building project, you are impacting lives! Take a look at the impact that AFC was able to make in 2012:

Q Why do we need to build a new sanctuary and facilities?

God has called AFC to unite generations and secure the future of the next 2-3 generations. This involves expanding our ministry to reach souls and impact families in the Chicago area while continuing to reach souls nationally and internationally.

Q Why are we doing another Capital Stewardship Campaign, didn’t we just finish one?

Yes, we just completed our 1st Capital Stewardship Campaign and raised over $4 million, however, the anticipated cost of the entire project is $26 million and each dollar we raise is another dollar we don’t have to borrow.

Q What CSP expenses and/or investments have been paid throughout the 1st Capital Stewardship Campaign?

$2 million has been spent on land acquisitions, permits and architectural drawings, and $2 million is set aside to be used as we move forward. Q What is the financial goal for the 2nd Capital Stewardship Campaign? $7.8 million

Q Will the parking lots be paved prior to building?

We are endeavoring to fast-track the paving of the parking lots and we will do what is feasible to improve the parking lots prior to building.

    Q When is ground breaking?

Construction has begun on our parking lots. Ground breaking for the new sanctuary is tentatively planned for the Spring of 2013. The exact date is dependent upon the timing of funding and permits.
After seeking and hearing from God about the amount you can pledge and commit to above tithes and offerings, we ask that you make your pledge by stopping in the Receptionist's office the next time you are at the church and filling out a pledge card.
