The acronym for PROJECT WARMTH is Wearing Apparel Received Ministering To Health. In the late 1980’s it was reported that many living in the Bronzesville community at 33rd street and surrounding areas were freezing to death due to inadequate layers of clothing during the winter. Project WARMTH’s mission is to provide gently worn and new clothing and coats to men, women and children in need who reside within the community and area shelters.
